The way that the macOS libc integration in zig works retroactively
breaks older zig versions on newer macOS due to linking errors. The
only version that is "guaranteed" to work on `macos-latest` is zig
`master`.

The wasm build requires the Emscripten SDK to be available. Then the
library can be built with something like:
zig build -Dtarget=wasm32-emscripten --search-prefix $EMSDK/upstream/emscripten/cache/sysroot
